Nawal Ardoin, RN (she/her/hers)

Registered Nurse

Born and raised in Ames, I am proud to serve the community that has shaped who I am. I have been a registered nurse since 2018, beginning my career in long-term care before discovering my passion for mental health. My journey in behavioral health nursing began in a residential care facility supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, which inspired my transition into outpatient behavioral health—where I have continued to grow both professionally and personally.

Before becoming a nurse, I dedicated my time to working with children with disabilities at ChildServe and supported youth with behavioral disorders at Beloit residential facilities. I have also worked in daycare and spent years waiting tables at my family’s restaurant in Ames. These experiences deepened my appreciation for hard work, compassion, and the value of community.

My passion lies in working with high-risk and underserved populations, including children, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, those experiencing homelessness, justice-involved individuals, and rural communities. I strive to provide inclusive, respectful, and person-centered care to every patient I serve.

Outside of work, I am a busy mom of three and love spending time with my kids and partner. I also enjoy caring for my plants, getting lost in a good book, and staying grounded in nature.

I joined Magnolia Connection in May 2025 and support clients in the Ames office.
