Amanda Khader, Ed.S, tLMHC
Licensed School Psychologist and Mental Health Counselor

Amanda Khader, Ed.S, tLMHC is a dual-licensed School Psychologist and mental health counselor. She received her undergraduate degree, Master’s degree, and Educational Specialist degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

She also attended Grand View University for her licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Amanda has worked as a School Psychologist for Heartland AEA and as a Child and Adolescent Clinician at a mental health practice.

She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults/college students with behavior disorders, learning disabilities, Autism, eating disorders, and a variety of other mental health concerns.  Amanda also enjoys working with families, especially those who have a child with a mental health disorder or learning disability, and are seeking support and/or education surrounding IEPs and 504 plans.

In addition to counseling, Amanda provides psychological testing services and is very experienced with academic testing when a learning disorder is suspected. Amanda belongs to NASP, ISPA, and ACA, and is a certified Mental Health First Aid and Crisis Prevention and Intervention trainor. Amanda joined Magnolia Connection in February 2024.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, exercising, walking her dogs (Maggie and Eden), and becoming hooked on a new Netflix show.
